I'm writing this on a lovely Sunday afternoon, watching football and laughing at the knob heads who are blindly defending their side and quite frankly taking it a tad too far. Now don't get me wrong, it's ok to believe in something or someone, but when you blindly defend them, slating all others, then I draw the line. It's kinda like the religion argument, we have people pushing religion, force feeding it, knocking doors etc, yet when was the last time you had an atheist come to your door trying to make you defer from a religion? I rest my case.
Same with consoles, Sony fans will slate an Xbox any chance they get, and vis-versa.
These kind of people will pick flaws and constantly barrage you with them, ignoring it's strong points.
I always maintain I'm always right, and technically, I am. I always give a reason as to why it's good/bad.
Prime example, I had a debate with a door-knocking religious folk, I shall write the conversation below.
Folk: Are you a believer?
Me:I believe in a lot of things.
Folk: Do you believe in the holy son, Jesus Christ?
Me: No.
Folk: Why not?
Me: Because it seems absurd for a man to die and then magically come back to life.
Folk: It wasn't magic, it was a miracle from God, do you not believe in God?
Me: No I don't believe in some invisible all powerful being, and who made the world..with magic..
I'll stop there as I've gotten my point across, I think, maybe...ah who cares, matter is if you believe in something, great, but acknowledge that it has flaws, because everything does, and to also stop pushing it in my face and expecting me to instantly go "Oh yes, where have you been all my life..."
If everyone accepted that people don't want to be like you, or hear you whine about why people don't think or believe like you do then the world would still be shit, but it would be less shit...maybe....
That's it from me, your lovable rouge from the PC master race, till next time, minions.
